I have been married for 24 years to my lovely wife, attorney Hannah Stokes.  We met while working in the Emergency Department of a local hospital, as I worked as a Respiratory Therapist, and she as a nurse.  We have two children: Abbie who is 23 years old, and Jack, who is 9 years old.  Before going to law school, I practiced as a respiratory therapist for 30 years doing all aspects of respiratory care in a wide variety of medical settings.  I did not attend law school until my 50's.  Up until the start of law school, in addition to practicing as a Respiratory Therapist, I worked for several attorneys doing medical chart review through my own business in the Chattanooga and tri-state area.  

     I enjoy spending time with my family doing a lot of different activities.  We hunt, fish, camp, and enjoy tending to our two horses, three rabbits and one dog.  My hobbies include motorcycle riding, ATV riding, and sailing/boating.  I am an avid percussionist and enjoy playing drums.
